Brief
TYHC (To your Heart’s Content) is an exciting new YouTube interview series led by Deepak Gopalakrishnan and Utsav Mamoria, operating under The 6% Club, their innovative startup venture.
The logo brief for TYHC is to try and capture the essence of the podcast's philosophy: encouraging content creators to embrace the intrinsic joy of creation without solely chasing fame or financial success. The series advocates for content creation as a transformative and therapeutic process, emphasising evolution through creativity.
TYHC will feature a diverse range of guests including creators, thinkers, and industry professionals who approach content from various perspectives. Unlike shows focused on rapid success hacks, TYHC fosters deep conversations with guests who embody a thoughtful and deliberate approach to content creation.
Identity Explorations- Route 01
The idea behind the interview series naturally aligns with a straightforward yet impactful concept where the "Heart" symbolises engaging in activities it enjoys. A visual representation of a heart partaking in leisurely activities that nourish its essence, has the potential to serve as a distinctive and memorable visual representation for the brand. It captures the essence of the interviews—focusing on activities that resonate deeply and bring fulfilment, symbolised by the heart engaging in these meaningful pursuits.

The inspiration from the hosts' distinctive eyewear sparked an idea to delve deeper into portraying them through caricatures.
This concept could potentially serve as an additional creative avenue for the logo design.
In my view, this approach aligns most seamlessly with the brief.
The idea behind the interview series is to encourage creators to spend time working on their ideas, giving the idea the time it deserves and create for the joy of creating rather than with the intention to earn quick money and fame.

Presenting Route 4

Finalised Logo Route
The logo from the second route with the slot machine design was shortlisted by the client to be taken ahead for further refinement. Basis some feedback and aesthetic choices, the final identity was created as below:

The client appreciated the design’s simplicity and clean aesthetic, noting that it offers ample opportunity for future extensions and branding materials. They were pleased with how the design can help cover various content genres and evolving trends. Additionally, the option to incorporate different "content" icons later on was seen as a valuable feature for accommodating future needs.
The title animation for the podcast's intro too, was designed to cover many content genres, justifying the ethos of the podcast.
