Brief
Musafir Cafe is a Netflix Original Series based on the book by Divya Prakash Dubey, created by Terribly Tiny Tales.
Set against the quiet charm of Mussoorie, the series moves across timelines, emotions, and fleeting moments of love. The brief was to create a minimal visual language that felt timeless, mature, warm, and lived-in.
Design Approach
We explored different visual cues that could capture the spirit of the series:
-The energy of a musafir — travel, movement, journeys, and fleeting moments.
-Old-school café signage & typography — drawing from the warmth and nostalgia of traditional hill-station cafés.
-Warm sunset gradients & hillscapes — bringing in the atmosphere and natural beauty of Mussoorie.
These were some of the visual directions we explored before arriving at the final design.

After a few iterations, we arrived at a magical, old-school, storybook-inspired handwritten font, with a subtle touch of sparkle that added to the warmth and charm of the title design.

We also designed the trailer cards and the end-title animation for the first look of the show, extending the visual language of the title design across the motion assets.
