Synopsis

The packaging takes a dig at the Indian education system that mass produces graduates and treats students like robots, with no intention of nurturing talent or giving individual attention to students, but to create trained parrots to work brainlessly in companies.

I conceptualised and animated this packaging, with the intention of capturing the essence of the 30 minute video, in 10 seconds.

Right before the video cuts to the packaging, there is an entire song sequence that introduces the characters in the sketch. I designed the name tags and animated them to fit the design language of the film. The song, a parody of the famous Green Day song, also borrows the grungy texture overlays from the original song. I was incharge of creating a similar effect for the parody song.
