From 2014- 2017, I have been actively involved in art direction of action and background props and posters for all of AIB’s videos. AIB is one of the few YouTube comedy content creators, who give a lot of importance to filling the frame up with as many jokes as possible, in the form of customised props and posters. I have been in charge of the design of such props.
Many a times, a lot of posters deviate from the traditional design sensibilities for the joke to stand out in the background. This has been a learning process for me in many ways.
The following are some of the props I have designed in the past followed by a screenshot of the shot in the final video as they appeared.
