I was approached by the team at OML to design the overall branding for a comedy special they had shot during the pandemic, with 4 stand-up comics doing a 15 minute spot each, titled "Stand-up Shorts".
The set had a vintage art deco look and the branding treatment was to be in line with the set design and colors.
For the show's logotype, I explored some art deco designs that would
incorporate an element of stage comedy along with an element depicting the short form content presented by each comic

The final logotype was then constructed after a mix and match of the above options.
Once the logo unit was designed, the treatment and colors were adapted to the poster. For for the headshots, pictures were selected from the taped footage.
The title animation of the show was a simple logo formation highlighting the set and the and the art-deco treatment, with the animation timed to a music track.
Since the show was a collaboration of 4 stand-up comics doing a 15 minute spot, each comic was introduced along with the name of their set, at the beginning of their segment, using motion typography, tracked to the opening shot of their segment.
